You nailed it with the MVP point. There's too much advice to "just ship." Unfortunately, too many people buy that stuff so the advice is self-perpetuating.

Like you, the few "products" I developed were born out of time, effort, and responding to questions and needs. I feel that's the only way to feel good about selling online.
