Simon, there is clearly a difference between writing a novel and creating a minimum viable product. You nailed it there. Since I don't write fiction, I hadn't considered that aspect. Of course fiction writers deserve compensation for their books!

I think it's the MVP folks that have ruined it for all of us. It just feels so icky.
