It is a strange place to be. While there might be good, actionable advice that people can learn from, is a publication focused on improving writing doing a disservice by potentially supporting ai-generated writing? I honestly don’t know.

I’ve been using Midjourney to generate header images for a few weeks. It’s a similar argument, since it requires my input to generate the image. It’s a tool, in that aspect, like a camera or photoshop to help bring ideas from my head to reality.

With writing, it’s a similar argument since the user still has to feed the starting point. I don’t know. One thing is for certain, as the tools improve we won’t be able to tell original writing and ai-writing apart.
