Got it. There are a few prior articles about why Mastodon is my preferred these days. Discord and Mastodon are not really similar, though.

Discord (where I host My Writing Community) is a community messaging platform. Think Slack or Teams. Mastodon is a public social media, like what used to be Twitter. Both have their purpose, but I wouldn’t consider them comparable.
